The Assemblies of God is the world’s largest Pentecostal Christian denomination of the protestant Church – with almost 70,000,000 (seventy million) members and adherents worldwide currently.
As an international fellowship, the member denominations are entirely independent and autonomous, but they are united by shared beliefs and history.
The Assemblies of God also places a strong emphasis on the fulfillment of the Great Commission and it believes that this is the calling of the church.
Assemblies of God Church – UAE welcome all the nationalities to come and join the house of the Lord.
PRAYER
We describe prayer
as a conversation with God. Prayer can be silent or said out loud. It can use
set words, or a person’s own words. In prayer, we lift our minds and hearts to
God.
There are many different kinds of prayer, including:

adoration – praising God for His
greatness and admitting dependence on Him
·
confession – owning up to sin and
asking for God’s mercy and forgiveness
·
thanksgiving – thanking God for His
many blessings, eg health or children
·
petition – asking God for
something, eg healing, courage or wisdom
·
intercession – asking God to help
others who need it, eg the sick, poor, those suffering in war
WORSHIP
We believe that authentic praise carries the supernatural power to change an atmosphere completely and open the door to miracles, signs and wonders.
When we praise, we join in agreement with other like-minded Believers to declare who God is and lift Him up above any circumstance that tries to steal our faith, joy and hope!
Praise prepares our hearts for God’s Word by steering our attention away from our problems and back onto His greatness!
BIBLE STUDY
The Bible is the Word of God. The Bible, God’s word, is living.
Hebrews 4:12 says:
“The word of God is living and operative.
The importance of the Word of God
1.
God’s Word sustains us
2. The Word of God purifies us
3. The Bible soothes and comforts us
4. The Bible strengthens our bond with God
5. The Word of God leads to Spiritual growth
6. God’s Word is life
7. Spiritual warfare is won with God’s Word
8. God’s Word is powerful to fight sin
9. God’s Word brings blessings
